Dear Parent:
Children entering kindergarten must be five years old on or before August 1, 2019. If your child’s birthdate falls between August 1st and September 30th and you believe they are ready for kindergarten, you may complete a petition for early entry to kindergarten. These students will have to meet kindergarten readiness on the BRIGANCE Kindergarten Screener in order to be enrolled.
Registration and screening for students entering Kindergarten, for the first time, is scheduled as follows:
INEZ ELEMENTARY, TUESDAY, APRIL 16th EDEN ELEMENTARY, THURSDAY, APRIL 18th
WARFIELD ELEMENTARY, FRIDAY, APRIL 19th TIME: 8:30 - 1:30
YOU NEED TO BRING:

Child's Immunization (Shot) Certificate

Vision evaluation completed by an optometrist or ophthalmologist

Child's Official Birth Certificate

Child’s Physical
-
Child’s Social Security Card
Students will be screened on the same day in the following areas: • School Readiness
• Speech-Language
• Hearing
Head Start/State Funded Preschool Representatives will be available to take applications for the 2019-2020 school year on these days and locations as well!
