Welcome to Sheldon Clark High School, home of the Cardinal Nation. It is both an honor and privilege to serve as SCHS’s last principal. We have less than two years remaining until we leave SCHS behind and become Martin County High School. What an exciting time for education in our district. As we look forward to transitioning into our new state of the art high school and co-located area technology center, our hope is that every teacher, student, parent, and stakeholder recognizes what a remarkable opportunity we have been afforded. We have numerous goals that we wish to accomplish prior to moving into our new facility. However, no one person can create a great school. It truly takes “A Village to Raise a Child.” I look forward to creating a culture that invites all stakeholders to share in making our high school an excellent place to attend, work, and serve. Let us focus on SCHS’s mission, “today we are ready to inspire, to learn, to dream, to succeed.” May EVERY student that passes through the halls of SCHS be inspired to set goals that will ultimately help them achieve their lifelong dreams. May every teacher be committed to providing the quality of instruction that will help EVERY student be successful. May EVERY parent feel welcome to be an active participant in their child’s educational experience. As your principal, I am committed to love, serve and care for every child as if they were my own. My door will always be open to discuss any recommendation, answer any question or address any concern which may arise. Additionally, we invite you to just drop by and say hello. We are eager to get to know all our SCHS family.
